What a lovely attitude to his art. I wonder what he would have said if you had asked him to write your name on it (or whether that is your responsibility). And a big hooray for things which are irresistable.
Tremendous piece. I had a friend who painted and gifted me a piece of her art. She resisted signing it, but I can't remember her reasoning. Perhaps she felt as this older gentleman did.
