Plus, PLUS, since I have been working at the medical centre for a few years now I am become the recipient of confidences of ladies being beaten by the children/husbands or suffering terminal diseases with nothing I can do to assist and it shits me.
Particularly the lady being beaten by her 28yr old drug addicted son. He beat her dogs to hurt her.
It is very sad.
It would make me ballistic with rage.
ReplyDeleteGood for him i am not a criminal master mind. Sigh. Hope all the paperwork for emergency accomodation goes well for her, but its got to be tricky with pets.
DeleteI find this situation unacceptable too. Sadly, I have no idea how to tackle this one.
ReplyDeleteI just wish I had stacks of cash or a spare house for her, but she has started the process for emergency accomodation and they have given her a new phone to replace the one he smashed. Bruises will heal but sadly her sense of shame will endure 🙁
